Overview

These terms govern your use of K8 software products ("K8") provided by LilBuba.ai. By purchasing and installing K8, you agree to these terms.

Licence

Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to install and use K8 on one computer at a time. You may transfer your licence to a replacement computer by deactivating the old installation first. If your old machine is no longer accessible, contact us to reset your activation.

You may not:

• Redistribute, resell, or sublicence K8
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the software
• Use K8 to build a competing product
• Share your licence key with others

What K8 does

K8 identifies duplicate and unnecessary files on your computer and allows you to remove them. All file operations are initiated by you. K8 will not delete anything without your explicit instruction. All deletions go through a 30-day quarantine system where files can be restored.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for reviewing K8's recommendations before acting on them. While K8 is designed to be safe and includes multiple safeguards (protected folders, quarantine, confirmation prompts), you should always maintain backups of important data. This is good practice regardless of what software you use.

Updates

All updates to your purchased K8 product are included free of charge, forever. This covers bug fixes, performance improvements, and new features within the product you purchased. Separate K8 products (Bionic, Cruft, Media) each require their own licence.

Refund policy

K8 is thoroughly tested and we don't anticipate any problems. Should you encounter a genuine technical issue, please contact us at support@lilbuba.ai. We do not refund for change of mind or after successful K8 use.

Payment

Payments are processed by Paddle, who acts as Merchant of Record. All pricing includes applicable taxes as calculated by Paddle for your region. Paddle handles all payment processing, invoicing, and tax compliance.

Intellectual property

K8 and its detection algorithms are the intellectual property of LilBuba.ai. The K8 detection method is patent pending (UK IPO, 2026). All trademarks, logos, and brand assets belong to LilBuba.ai.

Limitation of liability

K8 is provided "as is". While we've built extensive safeguards into the software (quarantine system, protected folders, confirmation prompts), LilBuba.ai is not liable for data loss resulting from user-initiated file operations. Our total liability is limited to the purchase price of your K8 licence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
